Burrel Terry

Burrel Lee Terry, 62, passed away Saturday evening, Nov. 23, 2013, of heart failure. He was born May 12, 1951, to Edward and Louise Terry of Whitwell. Burrel attended school in Whitwell through high school. After graduation in 1970 he began working in convenience stores and has managed several stores in the area. His focus was on customer service. His only marriage was to Doris Wright. They had no children. He is survived by his sister, Gloria Davis, of Whitwell; brother, Preston Terry, of Ringgold, Ga.; a niece, Mary Markowski, of Hagen, Germany; one great-niece; and two great-nephews. His family and friends will miss him very much. Family will receive friends 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, 2013, with a brief memorial service to follow at Whitwell Memorial Funeral Home.
