Kimberly M. Shropshire, 45, passed away on Monday, Sept. 30, 2013, at a local hospital.Survivors include her mother, Sandra Duque, of Chattanooga; father, Edward Douglas, of Detroit, Mich.; daughters, Kelis and Britany Kelley; sisters, Sherry Dixon, Chiquitta Farmer and Christina Shropshire; brother, Tommy (LaQuontia) Shropshire, Rodell and David Shropshire; nephews, Kane and Tommy Shropshire, all of Chattanooga.Services will be held at noon on Friday, Oct. 4, 2013, at the Church of the First Born with Pastor Alfred Johnson officiating.Interment in Forest Hills Cemetery.The body will lie in state after noon today and the family receiving friends from 67 p.m. at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 622-9995.
