Johnson, 96, passed on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013.He was employed as a radio and television technician.He was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Johnson; parents, Horace Greely and Lillie Johnson; siblings, Floyd, Daniel, Sidney, Alvin Johnson, Inez Sandridge and LaRue Edwards.Survivors include sons, John (Jean) Johnson, Ronald Johnson; daughters, Rosetta (Harry) Bryant, Wanda Shamburger, Anna Battle; seven grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.Service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013, in the chapel with Brother Phillip G. Henderson, officiating.Interment: Forest Hills Cemetery.The body will lie in state after noon today at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 622-9995.
