Virginia Brychta

Virginia Beth Brychta, 46, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Saturday, Oct. 5 2013. "Beth" as known by her family and friends was a very loving and caring lady. She was a graduate of Hixson High School, Class of 1985. Beth was a faithful member of The Church of the Highlands, which was previously known as Highland Park Baptist Church. Beth was preceded in death by her parents, Marion and June York. She is survived by her husband, Ben Brychta, Jr., of Chattanooga, Tenn.; her brother Rev. Gregory Scott York and his wife, Amy, of Wilmington, N.C.; three nephews, Alex York (Laura), of Columbus, Oh., Taylor and Jarod York, of Wilmington, N.C.; two aunts Janis Reese (Gene), of Harrison, Tenn., Barbara Shirley, of Denver, Colo.; two cousins, Mike Hall, of Harrison, Tenn., and Steve Hall (Dyana), of Ooltewah, Tenn.The family will receive friends and families one hour before the Memorial Service on Tuesday, Oct. 8, at 2 p.m. The service will be held at The Church of the Highlands located at 6621 Hunter Rd. Harrison, Tn. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the church in Beths name.
