Frank Reeves

ROSSVILLE Charles Frank Reeves, 84, went to be with the Lord on Monday, Oct. 7, 2013.He was born on Oct. 19, 1928, to Lee and Virgil Reeves.He served his country during the Korean War. He was a faithful member of the Rossville church of Christ formerly known as Bryan Street church of Christ. He served in the capacity of deacon and elder of the church for many years. He loved all the members and gave suckers to all the children. He drove a truck for many years and he was also the owner of Reeves Carpet. He also enjoyed his years of being a bus driver for the Inner City Outreach.Frank was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife, Jo.; his brothers, James, L.F. and Buddy Reeves; and his sister, Joyce Reeves.He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Jane and Nile Hass; two grandsons, Travis (Jessica) Hass and Trevor Hass, who were his pride and joy. His sisters-in-law, Rose Seymore and Laura Reeves; and many nieces and nephews whom he loved as his own.Frank was loved by all who knew him. He was always. full of joy and of laughter. His love for the Lord and his church was the foundation of his life.The memorial service will be at noon on Thursday, Oct. 10, at Rossville Church of Christ with minister Travis Hass officiating.
