Minnie Ovelle Wakins Lyle, 83, passed away Friday, Sept. 6, 2013, in a local healthcare facility.Minnie was welcomed into the loving arms of her precious Lord and Savior and is now being serenaded by angels. She was of the Church of God faith and was retired from Beas restaurant after 15 years of service.She was preceded in death by her husband, William R. Lyle; parents, Clifford and Julia Watkins; brothers, CL Watkins and Charles Watkins.Survivors are her son, Raymond (Victoria) Lyle, Ringgold, Ga.; the "lights of her life" grandchildren, Raymond (Coette) Lyle, Ringgold, Ginger (Terry) Fraley, Ringgold, Robert (Lori Ann) Lyle, Ringgold; seven great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.A very special thank you to all the love and care given by the staff and special nurses of NHC for the five years.Private graveside services will be held Tuesday, Sept. 10, in Hamilton Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Terry Fraley officiating.In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes, American Lung Association, or favorite charity.Arrangements by Heritage Funeral Home and Crematory, Fort Oglethorpe.
