Jr.SOUTH PITTSBURG Thomas Raymond "T.R." Cantrell Jr., 73, passed away Monday, Sept. 9, 2013.T.R. was a graduate of South Pittsburg High School and remained an avid Pirate fan. He served in the United States Army and National Guard. He retired from TVA Widows Creek and Lodge Manufacturing.He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas "Raymond" Cantrell; and his mother, Minerva Davis Cantrell.He is survived by his devoted wife of 37 years, Laura Fay Cantrell; his son and best friend, Thomas Raymond "Trey" Cantrell III, of South Pittsburg; daughter, Heather Croy Lewis and son-in-law, Bill Lewis, of Morganfield, Ky.; and daughter, Betty Ann Blevins, of South Pittsburg; grandchildren include Madelyn Blevins, Ethan Blevins, Allison Scott, Dylan Lewis and Derek Lewis.Services will be held at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg at 3 p.m. CDT Thursday with the Rev.
