ROSSVILLE Wallace "Wally" Quinton Burt, 46, passed away Thursday, Sept. 19, 2013.He was born in Fort Oglethorpe to the late Sara and Clayton Burt and had lived in the North Georgia area for most of his life. He was of the Baptist faith and was an avid Alabama Football fan. He also enjoyed playing golf, cooking and watching Duck Dynasty. He was a loving and devoted father and son who will be greatly missed by all that knew him.He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Dan and Louise Burt and Bill and Verdie Holdbrooks. Survivors include his two children, Joseph Allen Burt and Emily Louise Burt, both of Chattanooga; cousin, Bill Case; aunts, Betty (Tommy) Kean, Jan (Landon) Howard and Mary Case; uncle, Bobby (Connie) Burt; and numerous extended family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 23, 2013, in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel with Brother Mike Cawood officiating.Burial will follow in Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.The family will begin receiving friends after 4 p.m. today and prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home.Online guest book at www.wilsonfuneralhome.com.Arrangements by W.L.
