PIKEVILLE Ruth Lee Brown Tollett, 92, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, Sept. 26, 2013.She was a Christian and a member of Pikeville United Methodist Church. She was born and raised in Cumberland County; moved to Pikeville in 1945. She and her 1st husband, Carl owned and operated Browns Grocery and Service Station and Browns Auto Parts store for 25 years here in Pikeville. They retired from these businesses in 1975.She was preceded in death by her parents, Aaron and Delta Tollett Lee; two brothers, Frankie and Robert E. Lee; three sisters, Amy Lou Stephenson, Helen Lee and Beulah Cagle, and her first husband of 66 years, Carl Tollett Brown.Survivors include her husband, Eddie Tollett; and several nieces and nephews.A Celebration of Ruth's life will be held in the funeral home chapel at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013, at with Brother Doyle Ashburn officiating.The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. today.
