LaFAYETTE Sherron Jeanette Green Steele, 65, died Thursday, Sept. 26, 2013.She was born May 9, 1948 to the late Oscar Franklin Green Jr. and Helen Margaret Lankford Green in LaFayette. Sherron was of the Baptist faith.She was also preceded in death by her son, Shawn Steele.Survivors include her husband, Douglas Steele; daughter, Danielle Steele; brother and sister-in-law, Randall and Fannie Green, all of LaFayette; grandson, Corey Steele; several nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends today from 12:30-1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.Graveside services will follow at 2 p.m. in LaFayette Memory Gardens.Online register book available at www.wilsonfuneralhome.com.Arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Home, LaFayette 706-638-1122.
