Jerry Lunsford

Jerry Winford Lunsford, 64, passed away Sunday, March 30, 2014, at his home. A native of Ringgold, Ga., he has lived in the Crandall area for the past 36 years and was a self-employed master carpenter /construction builder all of his life. He was preceded in death by his father, Winford Lunsford; sister, Cynthia Louise Lunsford; and brother, Donnie Lunsford. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Diane Smith Lunsford, of Crandall; mother, Mary Ruth Vess Lunsford, of Ringgold, Ga.; two sons, Chris Lunsford (Christine), of Rocky Face, Ga., and Seth Lunsford (Kim), of Crandall, Ga.; three grandchildren, Johnny Briggs Jr., Caleb Lunsford and Lexie Lunsford; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday April 2, 2014 in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Anderson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 3-9 p.m. today and Wednesday until funeral time at the funeral home. An online register book may be signed at www.wilsonfuneralhome.com.
