Letha Mullis

Letha Beatrice Scoggins Mullis, 93, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, March 30, 2014. She was born in Rutherford County, N.C., to the late Grover and Lillian Henson Scoggins. She was a longtime resident of Rock Spring, and a member of Gospel Tabernacle in Chickamauga, Ga. She worked several years at Tri-County Hospital/Hutcheson Medical Center in dietary/ kitchen cafeteria where she enjoyed making pies. She enjoyed crocheting and playing Bingo. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Selma Harbour; brothers, Seth, Gaston and Carl Scoggins; and a granddaughter, Stephanie Jade Lemley. She is survived by her children, Yvonne (LeBron) Fouts, of Rock Spring, Peggy Harmon, of Rossville, Brenda (Bill) Crawley, of Chattanooga Valley, Ga., Deborah (Steve) Bryant, of Flintstone, Ga.; 13grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. today and Wednesday morning prior to the service. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 2, 2014, in the chapel with Pastor Joey Kelley officiating. Burial will follow at Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park, Rossville.
