LaFAYETTE Mildred Townesend, 74, died Wednesday, March 26, 2014. Survived by daughter, Teresa King, of LaFayette; grandchildren, James Townsend, Brandy Prince, Jason Carter and Carl Carter Jr.; and eight great-grandchildren also survived. Funeral from the Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home Chapel at 4 p.m. Saturday. Interment: Chattanooga Valley Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home from 2 p.m. Saturday until service time at 5 p.m.
