Earl Harrison

Earl Fate Harrison, 87, died Wednesday, April 9, 2014, at Parkridge Medical Center. He was a lifelong resident of Rhea County and was a member of Dayton Masonic Lodge #512 F&AM, Eastern Star #360, Alhambra Shriners. He owned and operated Powell Furniture Co. of Dayton for many years, and was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by wife, Andrea Powell Harrison; parents, Roger Parham and Paralee Smith Harrison; several brothers and sisters. Survivors include two sons, Bob Harrison, Spring City, Tenn., David Harrison, Dayton; two daughters, Jane (Rick) Williams, Dayton, Kathy (Don) Wolford, Spring City; three grandchildren, James (Amber) Boles, Jason Boles, Chris (April) Hester; great-grandson, Nathan Boles; several nieces and nephews. Funeral will be 7 p.m. today in the chapel of Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy Jewell officiating. Interment in Buttram Cemetery. Visitation 4 to 7 p.m. today.
