Tamara Jones Tamara Ashley Jones, 16, would have been 17 on Thursday, April 17, 2014, died unexpectedly Saturday, April 12, 1014. She was a former student and cheerleader at Sequatchie County High School. She was a Christian and loved the Lord. She loved to sing, draw, dance, cheer, tumble, travel and take selfies. She was preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Mildred Smith; grandmother, Freda Smith (Jeff Morgan). Survivors include her mother and stepfather, Wanda Grant Johnson and Joey Johnson, Dunlap; father, Adam Jones, Dunlap; brothers, Steven Jones, Tao Johnson, and Ty Johnson; grandparents, Loyd Grant, Lavern and Janie Johnson, Mike and Doris Jones; uncles, Tim (Denise) Grant, Bobby (Marie) Johnson, Ace (Kerry) Jones, Michael (Nicola) Jones, Jon (Melinda) Jones, and Kevin Johnson; aunts, Lesa Grant (Keith Hobbs) and Vicki (James) Bradford; several nieces and nephews and best friend, Mallory Cranfill. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. CDT Wednesday, April 16, 2014 in the Ewton Funeral Home chapel with Brother Michael Grant and Brother Matt Henderson officiating. Burial will follow in Bud Smith Cemetery in Bledsoe County. The family will receive friends from 1- 9 p.m. CDT today.
