Bobbie Carter

Bobbie Quarles Carter, "Boo", 73, of Chattanooga died on Friday, April 25, 2014. Prior to Bobbie spending the last several years at Consulate Healthcare. She worked at Hutcheson Hospital as well as Erlanger. Bobbie was the daughter of the late Hiram and Allie Quarles of Jasper, Tenn. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Rosetta Quarles and Georgia Jones. She was married to the late Fred Carter. Bobbie is survived by her daughter, Toni Billingsley Overby (Larry), two grandchildren, Landon Overby (Heather), Matthew Overby (Eleanor); and one great -grandchild Logan. She is also survived by niece, Deborah Johnson Gum (Tim); nephew, Carl-Wade Johnson (Mary); Great-niece, Shelly Gum (Austin) their daughter Lilly and great-nephew, Jason Gum. Burial will be at Caroline's Chapel on Monday, April 28, 2014 at 2 EST. Visitation will follow at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 822 Belvoir Ave. East Ridge, Tenn. from 5-7 p.m. Special thanks to Amedisys Hospice of Chattanooga for all their care.
