Julia C. Watkins Mitchell, 94, formerly of the Chattanooga and north Georgia areas, passed away on Monday, July 28, 2014, in an Atlanta, Georgia hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today, Aug. 1, at Lakeview First Baptist Church, with Pastor Patrick Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.
