George Shadwick

George Franklin Shadwick, 43, died Monday, July 28, 2014, at a local hospital. He was a painter for Ridge-Park Construction Company, and will be deply missed by his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Addie Pryor Shadwick; and is survived by his parents, Wade and Virginia Crowe, Ringgold; son, Jaxson Shadwick, and his mother, Amanda Joy; daughter, Lacey Murphy; and a granddaughter, Hayven Murphy, all of Ringgold; grandmother, Ann Shadwick, Soddy-Daily; and brothers and sisters, Wayne Silvey, Rossville, Tammie Shirley, Ringgold, Charles Shadwick, Ringgold, and Eric and Ashley Shadwick, of Arkansas. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 3, at Heritage Funeral Home, Fort Oglethorpe. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. today, Aug. 2, at Heritage Funeral Home & Crematory, Battlefield Parkway.
