Louiza Hoodenpyle

Louiza Hoodenpyle, 86, passed away Thursday, July 31, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Hoodenpyle; son, Charles William Hoodenpyle; sisters, Flo Harris and Virgie Smith; brother, Jamie Pursley. Those left to cherish her memories are her children, Robert (Bernice) Hoodenpyle Sr. of Chattanooga, Linda (James) Layne of Jasper; Raymond Hoodenpyle, Joyce Dye, Carlene Dye, Darlene Price all of Chattanooga; brother, Barney (Anna Faye) Pursley of Chattanooga; 38 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends 10 a.m.-9 p.m. CDT today, Aug. 2, 2014. Funeral service, 12: 30 p.m. CDT Sunday, Aug 3, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Clinton Cooksey officiating.
