Dixie Curtis

Dixie W. Curtis, 91, passed away Sunday, July 27, 2014. Dixie was a kind, thoughtful, and beloved mother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Doris Wilkinson of Flat Rock, Ala.; her sister, Donna McBryar of Trenton, Ga.; and her brother, Doyle "Buddy" Wilkinson of Rossville. Survivors include her son, Gary Curtis and daughter-in-law, Diane Curtis, of Rossville; her daughter, Marsha Curtis Strobel and son-in-law, Dennis Strobel, of Winder, Ga.; and sister, Diona Pike, of Bryant, Ala.; nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews; and a very large extended family. A Celebration of Life service will be Monday, Aug. 4, at 2 p.m. EDT, directed by Rev. Dawlon Conkle, in the Trenton Chapel of Moore Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens.
