Rona Womac

Rona Porter Womac, 71, died Monday, Aug. 4, 2014, at her home. She was a member of Yellow Creek Baptist Church since early youth and faithfully attended until her health failed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Blaine and Orlena Belle Barger Porter; husband, Jack Womac; and sister, Judy Porter Henderson. She is survived by two sons, Zane (Jeanine) Womac, of Maryville, Tenn., and Blaine (Tricia) Womac, of Dayton, Tenn.; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one niece, Rhonda Henderson. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home with the Rev. Clyde Fitzgerald officiating. Visitation from noon until 9 p.m. today. Following the service Rona will be laid to rest beside her husband in the Porter Ward Cemetery.
