Louise Ware

Louise Mitchell Ware, 66, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2014. She was born in Chattanooga, to the late Rev. Robert Oscar and Catherine Cordelia Watkins Mitchell. She was a resident of Chickamauga for the past 47 years. She was a graduate of Rossville High School Class of 1966 and had attended McKenzie Business College. She worked 24 years at Provident Life & Accident Insurance Co., she later worked at State Farm Insurance for agent Bob Combs in Chickamauga and worked for the past seven years with Brock Services in Rossville. Louise and Benny, her husband owned and operated Magnolia Corner in Chickamauga for several years. She was a member of Jones Memorial Baptist Church on Gordon Street in Rossville, where she was the pianist. She had served at several churches as pianist, including her former churches Oakwood and Lesly Memorial Baptist Churches where she was a member. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Ernest "Benny" Ware of Chickamauga; sister, Lena B. Levi, of Chickamauga; nephew, Jeff (Margaret) Levi, of Kingsport, Tenn.; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Jeannine O'Neal Hardeman and Ernest L. Hardeman, Annette and Ronald Webb; nephews, Allen (Donna) O'Neal, of Ringgold, Ga., Pat (Sue) O'Neal, of LaFayette, Ga. The family will receive friends from 5-9 p.m. today; after 3 p.m. Friday and Saturday morning prior to the service. Funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, 2014, in the chapel with Pastor David Massey officiating. Burial will follow at Crest Lawn Memorial Park, Noble, Ga.
