Tres Adcock

Harold W. "Tres" Adcock III, 30, of Vail, Colo., formerly of South Pittsburg, died unexpectedly early Friday morning, Aug. 1, 2014. The son of Harold W. "Buzz" (Sue) Adcock Jr., and Beth (Mike) Allen, all of South Pittsburg, he was a graduate of Richard Hardy Memorial School - Class of 2003, and attended MTSU in Murfreesboro, Tenn. Tres moved to Vail in 2008 where he quickly became a beloved member of the community and was employed by Up The Creek Restaurant. He dearly loved the outdoor life. Some of his frequent hobbies included traveling, camping, skiing, running, and, most importantly, being with friends and loved ones. Many have described Tres as someone who lived to love. He lived for the joy he got out of life, and in turn inspired joy in others. His light shined bright, and it was obvious to all who knew him. Tres was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Bill Vinson; and paternal grandparents, Harold W. and Clarice Adcock. Tres is survived by his parents; siblings, Tara Adcock, of South Pittsburg, Alex (Kayla) Adcock, of Dunlap, Tenn., Meghan Lee Allen, Michael A. Allen and Matthew V. Allen, all of South Pittsburg; grandmother, Sara Vinson, of South Pittsburg; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Funeral services will be conducted from the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home at 11 a.m. CDT on Friday, Aug, 8, with Mike Vinson and Rev. Carlton Harper officiating. Condolences may be sent by visiting www.rogersfuneralhome.com. The family will receive friends for visitation from 4-8 p.m. CDT today, Aug. 7, at the funeral home.
