Lorene Barrett

Mrs. Lorene Barrett, 81, passed away Monday, Aug. 11, 2014. She was born in Altamont on July 19, 1933 to Floyd and Ollie Faye Sanders Fitch who preceded her in death along with her brother, Douglas Fitch. She is survived by her sons, Leonard, Hugh (Mary) and Johnny Barrett; daughters, Phyllis (Gary) Jenkins, Dresden, Tenn. and Nancy Judkins, Altamont; brothers, Chester (Mae) Fitch, Altamont, Wilfred (Marie) Fitch, Cohutta, Ga.; sisters, Etheleen Hobbs, Altamont, Pauline Wellman, Morrison and Cathy Bailey, Centertown; companion, Jimmy Sweeton, Altamont; two grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. today in the funeral home chapel with Minister Clayton Jones officiating with burial to follow in Altamont Cemetery.
