Patricia Elmore

Patricia Wright Elmore, 62, passed away on Aug. 20, 2014, at a local healthcare facility. She was a 1970 graduate of Howard High School. She attended UTC and Chattanooga State. She held a license as a real estate agent. She was formerly employed at American National Bank, DuPont, Century 21 and Provident. She was a member of Greater Faith Temple Missionary Baptist Church; enjoyed reading, traveling and work. Preceded in death by her parents, William and Jessie M. Carter Wright; grandparents, Robert and Ethel Carter; three sisters; one brother; one niece and one great-niece. Survivors include her son, Paul Pinkenton III; sisters, Jessie Hudgins and Madelene Fuller; brother, David Wright; five grandchildren; three nieces; four nephews; a host of other relatives and friends. Special thanks to Dr. Carter, Rev. Jones, Fay Sharp, Rick, Staff and management of Alexian Brothers and Standifer Place. Funeral services will be held at noon on Monday, Aug. 25, in the chapel with Dr. Nathaniel Carter and Rev. Eric Jones officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. The body will lie in state after noon today at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 622-9995.
