Dewitt Welden, 75, died Sunday, Aug. 24, 2014, at his residence. Mr. Welden was a retired farmer and operated a produce stand. He was a 1958 graduate of Ider High School. He was preceded in death by parents, George and Ethel Shaw Welden; brother, Clyde Welden; and stepson, Ronald Lindsay. Survivors include wife, Arlys Welden; daughter, Cyndi Skiles; brother, Billy (Saralyn) Welden; stepdaughter, Gloria Grant; stepsons, Ronnie Lindsay, Gary Lindsay; granddaughters, Ashley Dykes and Jessica Dykes; step-grandchildren, Randy Grant, Krystal Grant, Katrina Lindsay, Michael Lindsay and Teresa Johnson; great-grandchildren, Jasmine Beam and Victoria Bradford.
