Diane Evans

Diane Taylor Evans, 78, passed away Thursday evening, Aug. 21, 2014, in a local nursing home. Diane was a veteran of the U.S. Army, but she will mostly be remembered by others for the humor that she showed in every aspect of her life. She is preceded in death by her parents, Reginald Taylor and Lora Redman Taylor of Maine; and her sister, Patricia Lucus of California. She is survived by two siblings; sister, Virginia Anderson, of Massachusetts; brother, Neal Taylor, of Crossville, Tenn.; four children, Regina (Terry) Hutson, of Cleveland, Tenn., Rebecca Weissmiller (Edwin) Scruggs, of Chickamauga, Ga., Jeffrey Weissmiller, of Geneva, Ohio, Michael (Wanda) Weissmiller, of Texas; and two grandsons, Andrew Longrey and Mikey Jr. A special thanks to all the staff at LifeCare of Collegedale and to Vicki Frierson of Amedisys Hospice for always showing love and care to Diane and the Evans family.
