Geneva Braden GRUETL

Mrs. Geneva Edna Braden, 89, passed away Sunday, Aug. 24, 2014. She was of the Congregational Methodist faith. She was born in Tracy City on September 4, 1924 to Elbert Patrick and Ethel Swearengen Patrick who preceded her in death along with her husband, Harley Braden; brother, Frank Patrick; sisters, Johnny Meeks, Ruby Patrick, Ruth Haggard and Hilda Burns; daugthers, Betty L. Nunley, Bonnie D. Coffelt and Connie Braden Poss. She is survived by her son, Billy Joe (Ruth) Braden; daughters, Kathy (Larry) Nunley and Brandy (David) Horton; grandchildren, Russell (Cindy), Steven (Judy), Joey (Eva) Nunley, Lisa (Dave) Sutherland, Melanie Braden Hornbuckle, Billy (Gretchen) Braden, Jim Braden, Anthony (Jennifer) Sweeton, Michelle, Tessa, David (Alicia) Scissom; 34 great-grandchildren; 16 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 4 p.m. today in the funeral home chapel with Minister Yancy Layne and Freddie Savage officiating with burial to follow in Swiss Colony Cemetery.
