Willa Hughes

Willa Imogene Chambers Hughes, 90, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2014, at her residence. A lifelong resident of the Ringgold area, she was a member of Boynton Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, William Luke and Alice Lina Baggett Chambers. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Hobert Reece Hughes of Ringgold; daughter and son-in-law, Alice Faye and Allen Simmons of Chattanooga; two brothers, Grady "G.L." Chambers and Columbus "C.B." Chambers, both of Ringgold; two grandchildren, Allen Reece Simmons and Patrick Drake Simmons; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held 2:30 p.m. today, Dec. 24, at Dailey Hills Cemetery with Dr. Keith McLeod officiating. An online register book may be signed at www.wilsonfuneralhome.com.
