Minnie Ingram

Minnie Mae Smith Ingram, 89, passed away Monday, Dec. 22, 2014. She was born Sept. 12, 1925, to the late William Joseph and Vera Smith. She is preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Doyle Russell Ingram; sisters, Ruby Loveless, Jack Comer, Lucille Evans, Ruth Sprayberry, Cleo Ash and Fannie Smith; her husband, L.A. Ingram; grandson, Mark "Buck" Ingram. She is survived by daughters, Marilyn (Marlon) Barrett, Cathy Taylor, and Phyllis (Roger) Avans; sons, Donnie (Jeannine) Ingram, Allen (Pearly) Ingram, Wayne (Debbie) Ingram, Paul (Kim) Ingram and Lawrance (Gale) Ingram; 17 grandchildren; 24 great -grandchildren; three great -great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral from the Wallis Memorial Chapel at 3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 26, with Pastor Randy Avans and Pastor Marty Bugg officiating. Sons will serve as pallbearers. Interment to follow the service in LaFayette Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday, Dec. 26, from 11 a.m. until time of the service at the funeral home. Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette, in charge of the arrangements.
