Ida Beason

Ida F. Beason, 89, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2014. She was a member of Laynes Chapel Church and was preceded in death by her husband, James Calvin Beason; children, Dennis Beason, Essie Brown, Wanda Hamrick; granddaughter, Linda "Sissy" Beason; parents, James and Flossie Mae Ramsey; sister, Nellie Edgetion; brothers, Clyde Ramsey, Thomas Ramsey, Marlie Ramsey, Allen Ramsey, J.M. Ramsey, Jack Ramsey. Those left to cherish her memories are her children, Linda Sharp of Whitwell, Dickey Beason of Pikeville, Tricia Beason of Whitwell, Marion S. Beason of Soddy-Daisy, Terry Beason of Whitwell; 21 grandchildren and 61 great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends 11 a.m.-9 p.m. CST today, Dec. 26, and 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 27. Funeral Service 2 p.m. CST Saturday, Dec. 27, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Freddie Savage officiating. Interment to follow at Laynes Chapel Cemetery.
