Doris Hyde

Doris Massingill Hyde, 81, departed this life Friday, Dec. 26, 2014. She was born in Chattanooga to the late Cliff and Willie Bell Massingill. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Baker Reece Hyde Sr.; and her sister, Elizabeth Sylar; and brothers, Gil Massingill and Bunt Massingill. Survivors include her son, Baker (Rebecca) Hyde, daughter, Kay (Michael) Bradford, both of Rossville; grandson, John Bradley Hyde; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 29, in the chapel with Rev. John Eldridge officiating. Interment will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens, South. Family will receive friends from 3-5 p.m. today and prior to the service Monday at the funeral home. Arrangements are by W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home, Fort Oglethorpe, Ga.
