Dorothy Cookston

Dorothy D. "Aunt Dot" Cookston, 86, passed away Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Carl Gene Cookston. She is survived by her daughter, Karen Godsey, East Ridge; two sons, Anthony (Lisa) Cookston, Suck Creek and Mark (Tammy)Cookston, Soddy-Daisy; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. CST Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Ronnie Cookston officiating. Burial will be in Lusk Cemetery.
