Roy Pickett

Roy Bert Pickett, 91, of Valley Head, Ala., passed away on Monday, Feb. 3, 2014. Roy is survived by his wife of 74 years, Ruth Elisabeth Pickett; son, Joseph Bert (Ramona) Pickett; daughter, Patricia Ann Spencer; sister, Mary Winfrey; grandchildren, Joey Pickett, Jimmy Pickett, Brandi McDade, Matt Pickett, Jon Pickett and Sydney Pickett; 16 great-grandchildren. Roy was preceded in death by his father, Mallie V. Pickett and mother, Flossi W. Pickett; sister, Billie Jean Pickett. Mr Pickett was a Army Veteran and serviced during WWII. The family will have a visitation from 4-6 p.m. today, Feb. 7, 2013 at Chattanooga Funeral Home, North Chapel.
