Michael Halter

Michael Ray "Rooster" Halter, 58, of Chattanooga passed away Feb. 6 2014. Mike was an avid hunter, conservationist, volunteer of the NWTF, devoted husband, father, and Pa. He is preceded in death by his father, Raymond Halter. Survived by his mother Betty Halter; his wife, Susan Lewis Halter; sister Mary Jo Masengil (John); daughters Brandy Myers (Mike) and Rachel Halter; sons Jarrod and Cody Potter (Amy); and grandchildren Autumn, Tyler, Logan, Devin, Sawyar, and Owen all of Chattanooga. As well as several nieces/nephews, friends, and hunting/calling contest buddies. There will be a memorial service held during the NWTF national convention this weekend.
