Delmas Russell

Delmas F. Russell, 65, passed away on Friday, Feb. 7, 2014, after a courageous battle against pancreatic cancer. A resident of North Georgia, he was a member of Chickamauga Church of Christ. He was an Army Veteran, serving in Vietnam. He was preceded in death by parents, Noah and Mable Russell; and brother, Buck Russell. Survived by wife and best friend of 36 years, Marcia Fuquea Russell; brother, Kenneth Russell; sisters, Ruth Crowe and Shirley Pearson; and many friends that supported him. A special heartfelt thanks are extended to everyone at Tennessee Oncology, Dr. Mark Womack, Dr. Todd Cockerham and Hearth Hospice. Funeral from the Wallis Memorial Chapel at 4 p.m. today, Feb. 10, 2014. Interment in Coulter Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 9 a.m. until service time at 4 p.m. The arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
