Claudie Mott

Claudie Mott, 79, departed this life Monday, Feb.10, 2014, at his home. He was retired from the state of Tennessee. He was born in Coalmont on Dec. 11, 1934, to Floyd and Hazel Lockhart Mott who preceded him in death along with his son, Wicky Mott; brothers, J.R. "Rooney and Tommy "Ledger" Mott. He is survived by his daughter, Rhonda (Bill) Smith, Jacksonville, N.C.; grandchildren, Jason (Rhonda) Meeks, Peyton and Asha Yokley, Natasha Prince, Cory Mott and April Payne; nine great-grandchildren. Memorial Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home chapel with Minister Clayton Jones officiating with a private burial to follow in Coalmont Cemetery.
