J. Howard Fossett

Howard Fossett, 84, Chattanooga, died Tuesday Feb. 11, 2014, in a local healthcare facility. Mr. Fossett was a member of the Ringgold United Methodist Church and was retired from Duke Energy. He served his country in the United States Army. Mr. Fossett was preceded in death by his loving wife of 57 years, Joyce Cooper Fossett; and two sisters Delores Bridgman and Reba Chapin. Survivors include his loving daughter and son-in-law Melinda and Jeff Bryant, of Spokane, Wash. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014, at Ringgold United Methodist Church with the Rev. John Purrington officiating. The body will lie in state at the church Saturday from 1-2p.m. There will be no visitation at the funeral home, Memorial contributions may be made to Ringgold United Methodist Church. Arrangements are by Heritage Funeral Home and Crematory, Battlefield Parkway.
