Minnie Adams

Minnie Ethel Adams, 92, passed away at her home on Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014. She was preceded in death by her son, Tyrone Adams. Survivors include her husband, Monroe Adams Sr.; her children, Virginia (Garland) Estes, Monroe (Diana) Adams Jr., Geraldine and Nathan Adams; nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be at noon Monday, Feb. 17, at Second Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Paul A. McDaniel officiating. Burial is 10 a.m. Tuesday at National Cemetery. The body will lie in-state from noon until 8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 16, 2014. Family hour will be from 7 until 8 p.m. at the Advantage Chapel.
