Jimmy Parker Jr.

Jimmy Lawrence Parker Jr., of Hixson, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014. He was 40 years old. Jimmy worked at C.C. Dickson in sales. Jimmy was preceded in death by his grandparents, Raymond and Flora Parker, and Preston Smith; Uncle, Johnny Parker; and a nephew, Derrick Jacobs. Jimmy is survived by his mother and father, Margaret Ann and James L. Parker Sr.; son, Brody J. Parker; daughter, Rachel L. Parker; brothers, Ronald A. Hale, Michael W. Hale; sisters, Lisa A. Alexander, Suzi Hensley; grandmother, Ruth Smith; several nieces, nephews, in-laws and other extended family members. The family will receive friends from 2 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 16, 2014, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home. Services for Jimmy will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 17, at the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
