Mildred Martin Mildred Davenport Martin, 96, of Chattanooga, (formerly of Jasper, Tenn.) died Friday, Feb. 14, 2014. A native of Warren County, Tenn., she was a homemaker, and a Baptist. Preceded in death by parents Alton and Ruby Akers Davenport; husband, Jesse Willard Martin; daughter, Ruby Louise Martin; son, Charles Luther Martin; and brother, Morris Davenport. Survivors include daughter, Muriel Martin; sister, Shirley Dodd; and brother, Hildon (Helen) Davenport; grandchildren, Charles, Robin and Marty Pack; and great-grandchildren, Chris, Summer and Taylor Pack. A graveside service is 2 p.m. CST today, Feb. 16, at Mountain View Cemetery in McMinnville, Tenn. Brother Dave Dawson will officiate. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery.
