Shane Gentry

Shane Talmage Gentry, 34, passed away Monday, Feb. 17, 2014 He was born in Chattanooga, on March 20, 1979 to Ben and Jeanine Gentry. He had many interest such as motorcycling, kayaking, reading, music, videogames, paintball and playing with his children. He was a devoted father, brother and son. Shane was preceded in death by his father, Ben Gentry; and grandparents, Fred and Nell Gentry, Helen Trinkner and Mildred Warren. He is survived by his children, Talmage and Bailey Gentry; and their mother, Jaime Gentry; parents, Jeanine and Eddie Warren; grandfathers, James Moyers and Joe Warren; sisters, Erin Gentry, Heather Hendrix and Brooke Parker; brother, Clay Warren; nephews and nieces, Spencer Howard, Vivian and Braxton Warren and Avery and Annie Kate Parker; and numerous cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. Services will be at Collegedale Community Church located at 4995 Swinyar Drive in Collegedale on Sunday, Feb. 23, 2014 with visitation at 2 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 3 p.m. and concluding with a graveside service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Shanes memory to the SPCA of Bradley County or Cleveland for a No Kill City.
