Howard Hughes Templeton, 90, passed away on Friday, Feb. 21, 2014 at Standifer Place Howard was in the United States Navy for three years until the United Stated Air Force was formed. He was with the United States Air force for 22 years until he retired. Howard was also retired from United States Postal Service. Howard was preceded in death by his wife Robbie Hackett Templeton; first wife Dorothy Faye Templeton; Daughter Dreama Ladon Wells : parents Battle Franklin and Luda Templeton; brother B.F. Templeton; sisters Virginia Marie Johnson and Blanch Frye. Howard is survived by sister Betty Webb; grandson Travis Templeton; nieces Kathy Dyer, Teresa Richard Keila Beaird and nephew Jimmy Johnson and Terry Webb The family will receive friends on Monday, Feb. 24, 2014 at Chattanooga Funeral Home-North Chapel from 10 a.m. until 2:30 p.m., with a Funeral Service for Howard to be conducted at 2:30 p.m. in the Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Wayland Stewart officiating Interment will be on Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2014 at 11 a.m. central time, at Hermitage Memorial Gardens in Hermitage, TN.
