Wanda Ford

Wanda Ford, 87, of Chattanooga, passed away Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014. A lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area, she was a member of the St. Johns United Methodist Church and in her spare time she enjoyed quilting. She was the wife of the late Joseph A. Ford Sr. and was also preceded in death by her son, Joseph A. Ford Jr.; two brothers and two sisters. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Janice and David Renker, Knoxville; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, Richard Boyd; and a sister, Gail Cogburn, both of East Ridge. Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in Chattanooga National Cemetery with the Rev. Dallas Beck officiating. There will no visitation at the funeral home.
