Ernest Frazier

Ernest Glen Frazier, 92, a resident of Chattanooga, passed away on Monday Jan. 6, 2014, in Chattanooga. He was born on July 12, 1921 to the late Parker and Stella Frazier. He was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga, after moving there from a young age. Ernest was of the Baptist faith, worked as a brick mason, and loved sports-especially baseball. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Army where he served as a medic. In addition to his mother and father, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Carol Ann Kilgore and several siblings. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 73 years, Maudie M. Frazier; daughter, Connie (Gary) Carpenter, of Ringgold, Ga.; brother, James "Sonny" (Edna) Frazier, of Ringgold; sister, Anna Lee Woody, of Harrison; two grandchildren, Traye Carpenter and Misty (Frank) King. Interment will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday Jan. 10, 2014, at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
