Beverly McKamey

Beverly Jean Anderson McKamey, 74, passed away Dec. 31, 2013 in Marietta, Ga. She was surrounded by her daughters and grandchildren during the last days of her life. She was preceded in death by her parents, several brothers and sisters. She is survived by her children, Janne Y. McKamey, Jannise Y. McKamey-Bruell, and Sergio (Ylva) David Morales; grandchildren, Tiffany (Stephon) Lopes Allen, Thurston Lopes Jr., Matthew and Kandra Lopes; brothers, George Redd and Gregory L. Anderson; sister, Nedra Bass; former husband and friend, Porter L. McKamey; and a host of family and friends. A memorial service will be held at noon Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014, at Hawkinsville Missionary Baptist Church, 7436 Pinewood Drive. The body will lie in state after noon today and the family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. this evening at the funeral home.
