Francis Singleton

Francis Albert "Frankie" Singleton, 53, passed away at his home Saturday Jan. 11, 2014. He was a veteran of the Tennessee National Guard and US Army. He was born in Altamont on Dec. 2, 1960 to Jackson C. and Nelline Burnett Singleton who preceded him in death along with his son, Francis C. Singleton; sister, Shelia James Pelham; brother, Jackson C. Singleton. He is survived by his wife, Tammy Lynn Johnson Singleton; son, Jackson C. Singleton; daughters, Carol Singleton, Amanda (Mekya) Adams, Beronica Singleton, Nellie Singleton and Charlotte Anderson; sister, Belinda Stephens; 8 grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Minister Clayton Jones officiating.
