Marlene Phillips

Glenda Marlene Gentry Phillips, 64, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2014. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and was of the Church of God faith. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Warren and Ruth Gentry; son, Curtis Phillips; sisters, Donna Gentry and Edith Page; brothers, William, Sonney and James Gentry. She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Alvin "Arie" Phillips; daughter, Rebecca Lynn Phillips, of Trenton; sons and daughters-in-law, Darrin and Amanda Phillips, of Rossville, Mike and Brandie Phillips, of Jasper, Tenn.; sisters Rebecca Caylor Sullivan, of Trenton; brothers Robert Gentry, of White House, Tenn., Carl, Kenneth, and Wesley Gentry, of Trenton; 13 grandchildren, Seth, Jason, Cheyenne, Jordan, Emma, Madison, Mylee, Destiny, Austin, Brandon, Hannah, Kassie and Dezmond; several nieces and nephews; host of friends. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 17, 2014, in the chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brothers Lonnie Goins and Ronnie Goins officiating. Burial will follow in Payne Cemetery.
