Laine Green

Laine Green, 89, of Chattanooga, passed away on Friday, Jan. 17, 2014. Mrs. Green was born and raised in Chattanooga and was a very dedicated and active member of Central Church of Christ where she was a member of the Central Ladies Bible School Class and volunteered with family fellowship dinners. She was also a dedicated wife and very caring person. She was preceded in death by her husband, Byron D. Green Jr.; parents, William and Elizabeth McCrory; sister, Janice McCrory Braziel; and brother, William McCrory. Survivors include her niece, Lynda Braziel Martin; nephew, W. Grady (Sandra Moreira) Braziel; four great-nephews; three great-nieces; three great-great-nephews; and five great-great-nieces. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 20, 2014, at the funeral home. Funeral services will follow at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home with Minister David Schonoff officiating. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked memorial donations be made to Hospice of Chattanooga (4411 Oakwood Drive, Chattanooga, TN 37416).
