Blondie Armstrong

Myra Jeanette "Blondie" Armstrong, 60, of Chattanooga died Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2014. She was born Sept. 12, 1953 in Chattanooga a daughter of the late Oliver and Idella Harrison. She was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Harrison; and stepson, John Michael Armstrong. She was a member of Battlefield Baptist Church in Fort Oglethorpe. Survivors include her husband, Jim Armstrong; stepdaughter, Kim Armstrong; special niece, Ashley Cooper; brother, Billy (Teri) Harrison; sisters, Jean Brandon, Linda Frizzel, Barbara McBee and Lynette "Blackie" Carter; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014, in the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Brother David Crane, Brother Steve Brandon and Brother Chris Paradise officiating.
